So I need to keep going.  I think that big change of cutting out unhealthy snacks is helping me.  I've  made several batches of cookies and some cupcakes and did not eat any of them until Sunday.  I did have some hot chocolate last night- but did not count it as an unhealthy snack- should I have? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I hope I can keep up the discipline on snacking.   It will really help me feel better. I'm up to running 5 miles a day (4 if I do speed work).  I'm doing ti 4x a week, but I'd like to get up to 5 again.  The pounds are not melting off like they do RIGHT after baby, but slowly my fat pants are getting smaller.  I now have 3 pairs of pants I can wear, and 2 are not sweats. &lt;br /&gt;So, &lt;a href="http://happyandhealthyforever.blogspot.com/2010/01/back-by-popular-demand.html#links"&gt;my friend Sara is doing her wellness challenge again&lt;/a&gt;&lt;a href="http://happyandhealthyforever.blogspot.com/2010/01/back-by-popular-demand.html#links"&gt; &lt;/a&gt;and I'm going to stick to it...because there is money involved.  And I don't want to loose my 20 bucks, so I'm determined to make all 10 points every day! &lt;br /&gt;I have to work out 6 days a week, so i'll do yoga one day, and I just have to do 45 min a day of working out.  Not a problem.  It takes about a hour for me to run 5 miles- i'm slow... and then I lift...and do abs most days.  But that "rest" day from running.  I think walking to the bus stop (1.5 miles round trip) counts as working out on my rest/yoga day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://heidiislivingwell.blogspot.com/"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div type='text'>i'm no fitness guru</title><content type='html'>So the only workout I really enjoy is running.   that is all.  so when i saw "ball things"  i am squeezing one of the kids play balls between my knees working my upper thigh areas (saddle bags and that fat between your thighs that would start a fire if you walked too fast wearing courdory pants).  Next week i'll start rotating daily "thin things" and "great buns" into the workout. It seems if you want to do something bad enough you can do it under any circumstances, but I think that our current circumstances (Nate being done with school) will allow us little excuse not to do something like this. Here are our challenges and we are going to try to stick to it for 12 weeks. I think after that some of them might stick to us.&lt;br /&gt;1 7 hours of sleep&lt;br /&gt;2 48 oz. water&lt;br /&gt;3 45 minutes of exercise (not necessarily consecutive)&lt;br /&gt;4 2 servings of veggies, 2 servings of fruit&lt;br /&gt;5 No soda, beer, wine, unhealthy snacks, or bad fast food [anything FRIED]&lt;br /&gt;6 No sweets [desserts, pastries and sugary snacks &amp;amp; cereals] * sugar-free alternatives are ok&lt;br /&gt;7 No eating after dinner/8pm&lt;br /&gt;8 15 minutes of scripture reading (or other spiritual text if you don't do scripture)&lt;br /&gt;9 One journal entry (any length)&lt;br /&gt;10 Express sincere appreciation or praise to your spouse (if single, to another person)&lt;br /&gt;Note: You have one free point per category per week, of your choice, or you can choose a day where all 10 points will be given.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Exceptions&lt;br /&gt;You are excused from the sweet rule on YOUR BIRTHDAY.&lt;br /&gt;You are allowed three sick days where you are excused from exercising and eating veg/fruit/water [if you can’t eat/drink] This is ONLY to be used if you are indeed sick.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Daily posts must include:&lt;br /&gt;Workout:&lt;br /&gt;Meals:&lt;br /&gt;Journal:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let's see if I can do this! I have a goal to fit into my pants by Christmas.
